CSLS CALL seminar

During Spring 2014, CSLS will offer a five session seminar-style mini-course to help graduate students develop an informed understanding of CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning). The facilitator of the mini-course will be Todd Hughes. This will be a non-credit mini-course that will not count as a graduation requirement for your degree program.

The planned format is:

a) five 2-hour sessions: January 24; February 14; March 21; April 4 and April 11-- all sessions, except April 11 will take start at 3:30pm and end at 5:30pm.  The session on April 11 will be from 3:10pm to 4:00pm.

b) readings and discussion: The text we will read and discuss is The Future Promises of CALL. CSLS will provide copies to participants.

c) Certificate (suitable for your cv) for those who complete all 5 sessions.

d) A final panel discussion that will count as a presentation that you can put on your cv.
