Field Technicians - West TN (POSITION CLOSED)
Part-time position; $12/hr

Number of positions: 7 total (Group1: Fayette, Lauderdale, & Tipton Counties, TN; Group 2: Hardeman & Madison Counties, TN)
What do FTs do?
- Live in or near project counties
- Willing to travel to locations anywhere in designated counties
- Be available at least 2-3 evenings (usually after 4:30 pm) and 1 weekend day per week. Field Technicians are scheduled based upon their availability and that of the family they are going to visit. Therefore, the schedule varies from week to week. On average Field Technicians work between 10 and 20 hours per week (those who are more available tend to get more hours than those with very restrictive availability).
- High School Diploma or GED (typically college students, retired persons, and working people who want supplemental income have worked well as field technicians)
- Basic computer knowledge (email, internet)
- Have reliable transportation, current driver’s license, and insurance
- Excellent verbal & organizational skills
- Preference given to those with experience in working with children and families
- Willingness to submit to a background check
- Available for training on procedures
Educational Facilitators - West TN (POSITION CLOSED)
Part-time position; $15/hr

Job Description:
Educational facilitators will be responsible for 6 weekly two-hour sessions with families. Educational facilitators will work in teams of three to carry out the group based intervention. One facilitator will work primarily with the parents of 7th graders and two facilitators (a male and a female) will work with the 7th graders. The parent facilitator needs to be mature and respectable as a parenting authority. The youth facilitators should be young professionals who can and have some experience connecting with youth (i.e. non-judgmental, flexible, and comfortable with youth culture). One of the three facilitators will be the lead facilitator and will be responsible for all paperwork and materials for that group. All facilitators should be energetic, animated, enthusiastic, and should have experience working in a group setting. Facilitators will need to able work well with other team members, be trained on the curriculum, and be committed carrying out the curriculum as opposed to pushing their own opinions and agenda. (Adherence to the manualized curriculum is vital to the success of the program.) Facilitators will need to commit to preparation time before each session to ensure comfort with the curriculum and enough familiarity to present curriculum information and activities with clarity. Persons hired for this position would need to be available on May 15th for an interview, May 20-22 for training, and be available to work two week nights and Saturday mornings for 6 consecutive weeks (June 1-July 18).

Job Description:
Technical Assistants will be responsible for overseeing the computer-based intervention (CBI). Technical assistants will set-up and manage the 6 weekly two-hour sessions. They are on-hand for computer support and troubleshooting. Technical assistants will be trained on program content and how to solve computer-related issues. Persons selected for this position should have experience working with computers. Persons hired for this position would need to be available on May 14th for an interview, May 17-18 for training, and be available to work two week nights and Saturday mornings for 6 consecutive weeks (June 1-July 18).
