Welcome Statement

Welcome to the Center for Research on Rural Families and Communities (CRRFC) home page. The purpose of this site is to provide you with information on some of the research projects being conducted at the center as well as provide access to valuable family and educational resources. Located at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, CRRFC examines the influence of a variety of factors (e.g., parenting, neighborhood, individual differences, schooling, etc) on the well-being of families residing in rural communities. Through alliances with other universities, community officials, child welfare organizations, and parents, CRRFC strives to empower children with the skills they need in order to engage in positive decisions and start planning for their futures!
