The Summer Intern Housing Program at Vanderbilt University

- A View of Kirkland Hall
Welcome to the Vanderbilt University Summer Intern Housing Program, part of the Office of Conferences. We look forward to your stay and hope that your experience will be one of adventure and discovery. After all, Vanderbilt is nestled in the heart of Music City.
Through the Vanderbilt Office of Conferences, the Summer Intern Housing Program provides summer interns with the highest quality of customer service by courteous professionals, ready to serve you around the clock and make certain any problem will be resolved in a timely fashion.
We offer our participants first-rate accommodations at competitive prices. All summer interns will be housed in the same apartment complex, giving residents the opportunity to interact with peers and other summer interns from across the country.
Our primary concern is to provide a clean, attractive and safe place to live while you are away from home. Exterior doors are automatically locked 24 hours a day with access granted by magnetic keycards provided to participants at check-in. Conveniently located on the scenic Highland Quad, Lewis and Morgan House apartments offer a 24 hour reception desk.
Participants will also be granted complimentary summer access to University libraries and the Vanderbilt Student Recreation Center located just across 25th Avenue from the Highland Quad area. Parking is available for the summer for a nominal fee as assigned.
Our summer housing accommodations are shared apartments, which have a common living room, fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom and two bedrooms. The bedrooms can be utilized as two singles or as two doubles or as a double and a single. Two-bedroom apartments have four beds. The single room cost is $38 per night per person, with double rooms costing only $28 per night per person. All rooms are clean, furnished and air conditioned. All modern amenities and utilities are included in the daily rate. The apartments have on-site laundry facilities, study space, cable TV hook-ups, high-speed wireless Internet & Ethernet access in each.
This special housing option has been designed to accommodate students working directly with Vanderbilt departments as well as organizations offering learning opportunities in Nashville’s business and non-profit community. Accommodations are available for Vanderbilt and Non-Vanderbilt researchers, interns and students working on special projects.
