Our Campaign Partners

Your gift to Vanderbilt's Community Giving Campaign will have a great impact on our community. Our campaign partners make a real difference with services that range from health issues to care for seniors to improved education. Please support our community by designating your gift to:

  • Community Health Charities of Tennessee and its members are working for a healthy Tennessee. One in four of our co-workers, family and friends is likely dealing with a chronic health condition as a patient or a caregiver. Our charities have local offices serving the Nashville community through medical research, support programs, financial assistance, educational materials and other patient services.

  • Community Shares "Building Social and Economic Equity and a Healthy Environment" is this federation's emphasis. It funds local community-based organizations getting at the root causes of community problems of hunger, poverty, violence, and discrimination. An employee's gift to Community Shares helps groups work for positive solutions to cleaner air and drinking water, accessible health care, cultural pride, and affordable services for low-income people.

  • Nashville Alliance for Public Education was formed to help Metro Nashville Public Schools improve by providing funding in areas that can have an immediate impact and reflect measurable results for student achievement. The Alliance provides a vehicle for private investment in public schools and aspires to create an awareness of the impact private giving can have on public education. Your support of the Nashville Alliance will help teachers teach, students learn and schools improve.

  • United Way of Metropolitan Nashville is the driving force behind hundreds of initiatives that provide solutions to Nashville's most critical needs. Our goal is to focus on what matters, and what matters is improving lives. Any eligible health and human services nonprofit organization may submit a proposal for United Way funding. These proposals undergo a rigorous approval process, and once funded, the programs are closely monitored by volunteers to ensure that the money is invested wisely and the programs get the best results.

And even if you don't live in Metropolitan Nashville, chances are you can find an agency to support in your hometown. Please see the detailed listing in the Guide for Caring at Vanderbilt for code numbers.

If you wish to designate your Community Giving Campaign gift to an eligible local 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency not included in the agency listing, please contact the Campaign Office at (615) 343-8759 or community.giving@vanderbilt.edu
