Camp Staff
The strength behind the Vanderbilt Soccer School is the knowledge, experience and ability of the camp staff. The staff is led by the coaches at Vanderbilt, but campers are also exposed to coaches from other college and high school programs. You will get to know some of the Vanderbilt women's players who will work as counselors, as well as players from other schools.

Day Camp
Dates: June 4-8 (Ages 6-12), June 11-15 (Ages 10-17)
Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Cost: $180.00

Deposit: A $50.00 non-refundable deposit will secure you a place in the Vanderbilt Soccer School for Girls Day Camp. The balance is due on the day of registration.

Objective: This camp is specifically designed for players wanting to learn the fundamental skills of soccer. Individual instruction emphasizes the use of correct techniques. The learning environment is enhanced with small-sided games which guarantee personal involvement, as well as team concepts. Since each camper is required to have her own ball, much of the time is spent perfecting the newly acquired skills.

Registration: Will take place on the soccer fields on Mondays between 8:15 - 9 a.m. Once on campus, follow the signs for the Vanderbilt Soccer School for Girls.

Pick up after camp: At the soccer field where registration takes place. Campers finish each day at 4 p.m.

Lunch: Lunch is included in the tuition and will be eaten in the Hendrix Room cafeteria.

T-Shirt: A camp t-shirt will be included in the tuition.

Soccer Ball: Each camper is reminded that a soccer ball is required at Vanderbilt University Soccer School for Girls. You may bring your own ball or purchase an Adidas stitched ball at registration for the special price of $25.

Residential Camp
Dates: June 24-28
Ages: 10-17
Cost: $385.00 Overnight Campers; $285.00 Day Campers

Deposit: A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required with each application and will be credited toward total camp fee. The balance is due on the day of registration. A signed parental consent will be required for each camper at registration.

Objective: This residential session of camp is designed to improve the skill level and tactical understanding of all players. The camp is designed to make you a better soccer player. Practice sessions will be intense and very competitive to challenge every level of the player's ability. As a player, you will be taught both individual skill work, as well as team tactics. During the evening sessions' full-sided matches, we encourage you to try the skills you have learned in the daily morning sessions. We believe goalkeeping is a very specialized and unique skill, therefore we provide individual instruction for keepers during all sessions.

Registration: Will take place on Sunday between Noon and 2 p.m. Once on campus, follow the signs to Vanderbilt Soccer School for Girls.

Check Out: Will be after the afternoon session on Thursday between 4 - 5 p.m.

Housing: Will be in the Vanderbilt dorms. These rooms are air conditioned and there will be two campers per room.

Meals: You will be served at the Vanderbilt Dining Hall. The first meal will be dinner on Sunday and the last meal will be lunch on Thursday.

T-Shirt: A t-shirt will be included in tuition.

Cost: $425.00 Elite Soccer School; $435.00 NETperformance Goalkeeping Academy

Deposit: A $100.00 non-refundable deposit will secure you a place in the Vanderbilt Soccer School for Girls Day Camp. The balance is due on the day of registration.

Objective: Vanderbilt Soccer School for Girls is pleased to announce the addition of our Elite Soccer School for 2001. This camp is targeted for advanced high school and competitive club level players ages 14-17. This camp provides a competitive environment for advanced technical and tactical training with the inclusion of several special lecture sessions relating to the college recruiting process and NCAA rules, proper sports nutrition, strength and conditioning programs, and academic progress for the college-bound student-athlete. Training sessions and evening matches will be intense and challenging. We are also proud to offer the new NETperformance Goalkeeping Academy to be held in conjuction with the Elite Soccer School. The NETperformance Goalkeeper Academy will be under the direction of Eric Vaughter, Vanderbilt Goalkeeper Coach and nationally-renowned GK trainer. NETperformance Goalkeeper Academy will feature instruction and training from Eric Vaughter. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants. Classroom sessions and video analysis will be utilized to maximize our teaching process. Included in the camp cost is an adidas goalkeeping training jersey.

General Information
*Medical Attention: A full-time trainer will be at all training sessions and in the dorms.
*Camp Counselors: In order to insure the safety of all campers, camp counselors will live in the dormitory, supervising campers at night and be present at all meal times. Counselors are current collegiate players who are there to make camp a positive experience.
*Facilities: The Bermuda grass soccer fields of Vanderbilt University are used for all sessions.
