Commodores Make All-Region
November 26, 1996
Nashville -- The Vanderbilt Commodores placed three members
of the women's soccer team on the All-Region teams as announced on November
25.
Jennifer Burchett of Franklin, Tennessee, heads the list as she was named
to the first team All-Central Region for the third straight year. The
senior defender ends her career ranked in the top ten in scoring on Vanderbilt's
Career List.
Freshman Laura Koerner, who led the Commodores in scoring and goals scored
this year with 40 and 165 respectively, was named to the second team while
junior Chulanda Phipps made the All-Central Region third team.
