Half Day Camp: Monday-Friday (9 a.m.-12 p.m.) - $125
Full Day Camp: Monday-Friday (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.) - $200
This camp is designed specifically for players learning the fundamental skills
of soccer. Individual instruction emphasizes the use of correct techniques.
The learning environment is enhanced with small-sided game which guarantee personal
involvement, as well as team concepts. Since each camper is required to have
her own ball, much of the time is spent perfecting the newly acquired skills.
Day Camp Schedule:
9-9:30 a.m.: Warm-Up
9:30-11:30 a.m.: Individual Techniques
11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.: Small-Sided Games
12-1:30 p.m.: Half-Day Campers Depart; Lunch for Full Day Campers
1:30-2:30 p.m.: Warm-up
2-4 p.m. - Scrimmages
Registration:
Will take place on the stadium field,
behind the McGugin Center, on Monday between 8:15-9
a.m.
Pick Up After Camp:
At the track/soccer field where registration takes place.
Lunch:
Lunch is included in the tuition and will be eaten in the Hendrix
Room, which is the athletic dining hall located inside the McGugin Center.

* This residential session of camp is designed to improve the
skill level and tactical understanding of all players. Practice sessions will
be intense and very competitive to challenge every level of the player's ability.
* As a player, you will be taught both individual skill work, as well as team
tactics. During the evening sessions' full-sided matches, we encourage you to
try the skills you have learned in the daily morning sessions.
* We believe goalkeeping is a very specialized and unique skill, therefore we
provide individual instruction for keepers during all sessions

Elite Soccer School: $500
NETperformance Goalkeeping Academy: $525
Objective:
* - The Elite Camp is targeted for advanced high school
and club players ages 13-18. This camp provides a competitive environment for
advanced technical and tactical training with the inclusion of several lecture
sessions relating to the college recruiting process and NCAA rules, proper sports
nutrition, strength and conditioning programs, and academic progress for the
college-bound student athlete. Training sessions and games will be intense and
competitive to challenge every level of the player's ability.
* - The NETperformance Goalkeeping Academy will be held in conjunction with
the Elite Soccer School. The NETperformance Goalkeeper Academy will be under
the direction of Eric Vaughter, Vanderbilt goalkeeper coach and nationally-renowned
GK trainer. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants. Classroom sessions and
video analysis will be utilized to maximize our teaching process. Included in
the camp cost is an adidas goalkeeping training jersey.

What to Bring:
* - Residental and Elite Campers: Training shoes (Running or Cross Trainer),
light coat/windbreaker, cleated and indoor soccer shoes, shin guards, shirts,
shorts, socks, towels, bedding or sleeping bag, pillow and personal toiletries
(soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.)
* - Day Campers: Training shoes (Running or Cross Trainer), training
shorts, sport bag, socks, shirts, shin guards and sunscreen
Campers Must be Physically Fit: The Vanderbilt Soccer School for Girls,
especially the residential and elite soccer camps, are physically demanding.
In the spring, you should begin to prepare for camp by taking part in a running
and fitness program to ensure you get the most out of your week at camp.
Medical Attention: A full-time trainer will be at all training sessions
and in the dorms. Please read carefully the Release From Liability section within
the
brochure.
Camp Counselors: In order to ensure the safety of all campers, camp counselors
will live in the dormitory, supervising campers at night and be present at all
meal times. Counselors are current Vanderbilt players who are there to
make camp a positive experience for your child.
Facilities: For the first time, campers will participate inside the state-of-the-art
Vanderbilt Soccer Complex, which was unvailed back in Augustof 2002. The brand
new Bermuda grass soccer field will be used for all sessions.
Soccer Ball: A reminder that each camper is required to have a soccer
ball. You may bring your own or purchase a stitched ball at registration for
the special price of $25.
T-Shirt: A camp t-shirt will be included in the tuition.
Shuttle Service: Shuttle Service to and from the Nashville International
Airport is available. The service includes pickup at baggage claim upon arrival
and drop off from outside the terminal at departure. Anyone interested needs
to check the appropriate box on the application or contact the camp office as
soon as possible. Times of arrival and departure are needed to confirm shuttle
reservation. The $20 fee is due immediately upon confirmation.
Housing: Campers will be placed in the Vanderbilt dormitories. These
rooms are
air conditioned, and there will be two campers to each room.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit ($50 for day camp, $100 for elite and
residential camps) is required with each application to secure your place in
the Vanderbilt Soccer School for Girls and will be credited toward the total
camp fee. The balance is due on the day of registration. A signed parental consent
form is required for each camper at registration. Also, your depositied check
or credit card statement is your only confirmation. If using a credit card,
the full amount will be charged.
