NO. 19 CONNECTICUT HANDS VANDERBILT 2-0 LOSS
Nineteenth-ranked Connecticut handed the Vanderbilt women's soccer team a 2-0 loss in Storrs, Conn., on Sunday afternoon. The Huskies dominated the game allowing only two shots by the Commodores. Only one of VU's shots was on goal. Vanderbilt was able to hold the Huskies scoreless in the first half of the game. UConn took the 1-0 lead on a 40 yard blast that found Vanderbilt's net. The Huskies secured the victory with one more goal at the 83:16 mark. Lauren Naida connected on a 15 yard shot off a pass from Sen Amaiu. Commodore goalkeeper Jessie Wolfe did have six saves in the match. With the loss, the Commodores drop to 4-8 overall.
