VANDERBILT FALLS, 3-0, TO MICHIGAN IN TIGER INVITATIONAL

The Vanderbilt women's soccer team was defeated by #15 Michigan, 3-0,
in the Ellis Copy Tiger Invitational hosted by the University of Missouri
on Friday afternoon.
Michigan scored two goals in the first half, both on
one-on-one situations against VU's goalkeeper Jessie Wolfe.
Michigan scored the final goal with 18 seconds remaining in
the contest. Vanderbilt blocked that shot, but the
Wolverines scored on the deflection.
Laura Koerner led VU with three shots on goal.
Michigan outshot Vanderbilt 14-11. Wolfe totaled four
saves in only her second start this season in goal.
Vanderbilt concludes play in the Invitational on
Sunday when the Commodores take on Indiana at 11 am.
