A strong player, O'Leary is a veteran who can help the Commodores
in both the midfield and defense. Last year, she moved from
defender to midfield and got more involved with the offense,
recording a career-high six shots. Her experience and leadership
will be counted on this year for the Commodores.
As A Junior (2001): Played in all 17 games, starting
13...Had a career-high six shots on the season...Assisted
on the Commodores' final goal vs. Alabama...Had a career-high
3 shots in Vanderbilt's upset of Georgia.
As A Sophomore (2000): Recorded first career assist
and point at Georgia...Contributed as a back-up defender,
making 14 apperances overall and six in SEC games.
As A Freshman (1999): Spent most of the season as
a substitute midfielder…Saw time in 16 games, nine of them
were SEC games…Made her first career start against Mississippi
State…Recorded two shots on the season with both coming against
Mississippi State.
High School/Club: A four-year letterwinner, who was
named all-state in 1999 after scoring 14 goals and 23 assists…Helped
her team win three state titles in 1996, 1998-99 and earned
all-tournament team honors in 1999…A two-year team captain…Scored
17 goals and 22 assists her junior year…Led her club team
to six straight state championship titles and was on the ODP
state team for four years…Competed with the ODP team in Costa
Rica in August 1997.
