#9 Meghan Habig Freshman - Midfielder 5-8 Sheridan, Ind. Westfield

A talented player with an excellent offensive and defensive skills, Habig joins the Commodore midfield this season. An all-state player from Westfield High School, she has also helped her Carmel Cosmos club team to numerous titles. Her offensive skill will be an asset for Vanderbilt this season as she has a chance to make an immediate impact for the Commodores.

High School/Club: Two time All-State performer at Westfield High School...All time leading scorer in school history...Named to the All-Metro North and All-Country squads three times...Three time All Conference...2002 Captain and MVP...Member of Carmel Cosmos club that finished 2nd at the 2000 national championships...Won nine consecutive state championships with the Cosmos from 1994-2002...Helped the Cosmos reach the regional finals in 2001 and numerous other finals and semifinals appearances at club tournaments throughout the nation...Also was a four year letterwinner in basketball at Westfield High School...Was basketball team's leading scorer in 2000 and 2001 while leading team to the final four of the state basketball tournament...Three time All-County in basketball.
