| Anderson
Becomes Two-Time Kodak All-America 4/4/03
Chantelle
Anderson has become Vanderbilt’s first two-time Kodak
All-America, capping a decorated career that many consider
to be the finest in school history.
Anderson is the school’s all-time leading scorer and
was the SEC “Player of the Year” in 2002 after
leading the Commodores to the Elite Eight for the second straight
year. This year Vanderbilt was 22-10 and made the NCAA’s
second round behind Anderson, classmate Ashley McElhiney and
all-SEC junior Jenni Benningfield.
The Kodak team is considered by many to be the premier All-America
honor squad in the country as it is selected by an elite committee
of coaches from all geographic regions of the nation.
