Vanderbilt Women's Golf Team is Ranked

The Vanderbilt women's golf team is ranked
#4 in the nation in the latest rankings released yesterday
by GolfWeek.com. The Commodores own a rating of 72.97. Arizona
is the top team in the country with a 72.26 rating, followed
by Oklahoma State (72.40) and Auburn (72.50). Rounding out
the Top 10 is Duke in fifth place (72.62), followed by Texas
(72.97), Washington (73.26), Tennessee (73.39), South Carolina
(73.43) and Florida (73.46).
The Commodores have two golfers in the Top
20 led by junior Courtney Wood in 12th place with a 71.69
rating and junior Sarah Jacobs in 18th place with a 71.95
rating, Senior Nicki Cutler is in 58th place (73.49) and
freshman May Wood is in 61st place (73.56). Sophomore Joni
Gossett owns a 75.44 rating (171), followed by sophomore
Veronica Yatco with a 76.87 rating (271).
