Women's Golf Ranked #2 in Nation
The
Commodore women's golf team is currently ranked #2 in the
nation in the GolfWeek Poll released yesterday (Oct. 22).
Oklahoma State is in first place, just 2.01 points ahead
of Vanderbilt. Arizona is third, followed by Auburn and
Duke.
Four Commodore players are ranked individually
led by junior Sarah Jacobs in 11th place, followed by junior
Courtney Wood in 16th, freshman May Wood in 35th and senior
Nicki Cutler in 48th. Vanderbilt is coming off a second
place finish at the Stanford Pepsi Invitational. Next action
for the Commodores is the Auburn Tiger-Derby Invitational
on Nov. 1-3.
