Vanderbilt Hosts Inaugural Media Scramble, 9/10/02

The Vanderbilt women's golf team hosted its inaugural Media Golf Scramble Monday at the Little Course at Aspen Grove in Franklin, Tenn. Members of the media from the Nashville area along with a few supporters, were teammates of the Commodore golfers for nine rounds of golf. Head Coach Martha Freitag addressed the group following the outing at a reception.

The teams included:

• Nicki Cutler, Anthony Lane (City Paper), Marshall Chapman (author/singer/songwriter), Steve Wrigley (WSMV TV) - pictured right

• Courtney Wood, Raleigh Squires (City Paper), Brad Golder (VU Hustler)

• Kimberly Kindig, Rudy Kalis (WSMV TV), Mason Rudolph (Director of Golf)

• Joni Gossett, Joe Biddle (Tennessean/WTN 99.7), George Walker (Tennessean)

• May Wood, Blake Fulton (WTN 99.7), Paul Kuharsky (Tennessean)
