Tolbert was a three-time runnerup in the 400 meters at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
She also captured two SEC Championships in the 400-meter hurdles (outdoor) and
one in the 400-meter dash (indoor). Tolbert holds six indoor records and eight
outdoor records at Vanderbilt.
On the national and international scene, Tolbert participated in the 1997 World
Championships and the 1996 and 2000 Track and Field Olympic Trials, as well
