High School/Juniors: Member of the four-time Tennessee High School State Championship team while at Memphis University School (1998-2002) crowned state high school doubles champion in 2002 finished runner-up in 2001 in the high school state singles tournament in 2000, finished second in the high school doubles tournament reached the Round of 16 at the 2001 USTA National Hardcourt Championships in Kalamzoo, Mich. victorious in doubles at the USTA Tennessee Qualifying Tournament in 2000 and 2001 won the USTA Tennessee Qualifying Tournament in singles in 2000 and was runner-up in 2001 in his final year of playing the Boys 18s, he finished ranked No. 4 in the state of Tennessee and No. 18 in the South. named to the Memphis Commercial Appeal's Best of Preps from 1998-2002 captain of Memphis University School's tennis team his senior year.

Personal: Son of Ken and Judy Sossaman born on February 20, 1984 has one sister, Allison (20) member of the Spanish National Honor Society and the Red and Blue Society.
