2001-02 (Freshman): Had a solid first year with the Commodores in both
singles and doubles, as he combined to win 31 matches … finished the season
with 15 singles wins, which was fourth most on the squad … saw the majority
of his singles action at the No. 3 and 4 positions … earned one of Vanderbilt's
three singles points against Kentucky in the second round of the NCAA team championship
when he defeated No. 97-ranked Johan Grunditz … advanced to the third round
of the Region III championships during the Fall season … primarily played doubles
with Bobby Reynolds (No. 1 position) or Chad Harris (No. 2 position).
High School/Juniors: Top 10 nationally last season in Boys 18...Ranked
