Rocky Adcox
Volunteer Assistant Coach |
Rocky Adcox begins his third season as a volunteer assistant
coach at Vanderbilt. In addition to helping the Commodores,
Adcox is a teaching pro at Wildwood Country Club in Brentwood,
Tenn.
A 1982 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Adcox was
associated with the Volunteers' tennis program in various
capacities for 14 seasons. While at Tennessee, he coached
Volunteers such as Doug Flach, brother of Commodore head coach
Ken Flach, and former Vanderbilt assistant coach Pablo Montana.
"Rocky knows pretty much everybody in the tennis world,"
states Ken Flach. "He is very knowledgable about the game
and can relate those experiences to the team well."
Adcox, a native of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., has also taught at
various camps around the world.
