Men’s Soccer Nabs Three Players from Oklahoma 3/11/03

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Head coach Tim McClements and the Vanderbilt men’s soccer program has announced the signings of three players from the state of Oklahoma. Midfielder Jamie Gilbert (Broken Arrow, Okla.) and forwards Joshua Medcalf (Tulsa, Okla.) and Justin Moreland (Tulsa, Okla.), who all play for the Tulsa Nationals ’85 Soccer Club, are the newest additions to the 2003 roster.

High School: Three-year varsity starter at Broken Arrow Senior ... High school team won the 2001 and 2002 Oklahoma High School state championship ... 2001 state championship team finished ranked No. 1 nationally in the USA Today/adidas Coaches Poll.
