Charles Morrow
Assistant Coach

Charles Morrow was named assistant
coach during the summer of 2001 after serving as a volunteer
assistant coach last season. Morrow came to Vanderbilt after
serving as head coach of the boy's and girl's soccer teams
at Goodpasture High School in Nashville in 1999 and 2000.
Morrow took over the Goodpasture boy's team,
which had a losing record in 1998, and led them to a 14-4-2
record and an appearance in the Regional Semifinals in 1999.
The team made a second appearance in the Regional Semifinals
in 2000.
Morrow played soccer at Queens College for
two years before transferring to David Lipscomb University
where he received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education
and Health in 1997. He played soccer at Lipscomb serving as
team captain in his junior (1994) and senior (1995) seasons.
Following his two of playing for the Bison soccer team, he
was an assistant coach for one season at Lipscomb (1996).
Morrow holds a B license from the United States Soccer Federation.
He is currently working on his masters of
sports management at the US Sports Academy in Mobile, Ala.
Morrow is married to the former Beth Ernest
of Nashville, and the two are expected their first child in
October.
