High School: Team captain at Rockhurst High School where he earned team MVP honors, all-state first team, all-metro first team and all-west regional first team honors helped lead his team to the Missouri state championship in 1998 and 1999 and a fourth-place finish in 2000 his 1998 team was ranked No. 4 in the NSCAA national rankings and No. 10 in 1999 selected to the Missouri State Team in the Olympic Development Program from 1994-2000 and was a Region II team member in 1997 and 1998 attended the 1999 adidas ESP Camp and was an adidas ESP Camp nominee in 1998 and 2000.
