Men 15th in Weekend
Action Columbus, Ga. -- The men's golf team fired a combined 54-hole total of 919, taking 15th out of 18 teams at the G. Gunby Jordan Intercollegiate at the Bull Creek East course. Playing in less than ideal conditions in Columbus, Richard Douglas led the Commodores with a 228, giving him a tie for 42nd. Andy Phipps finished one stroke behind Douglas, and earned a tie for 49th. Jamie McIntosh and Michael King each had 234's, tying them for 72, and Chad Jacobi fired a 237 for 54 holes to tie him for 79th. Like the women's team, the men have also completed their fall season.
They will next be in action Feb. 21-23 at the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate
in Jacksonville, Florida.
