Roguski
Named to SEC Good Works Team 5/17/02
Vanderbilt's
Jess Roguski was named to the 2002 Southeastern Conference
At-Large Sports Good Works Team. Roguski, a sophomore from
Baltimore, Maryland (Liberty High School), is an active volunteer
in her community.
Roguski helped coordinate the student-athlete Field Day for
underprivileged youth and organized the Children's Christmas
Party. A Psychology major at Vanderbilt, she is on the student-athlete
advisory board. She also gave blood during 9/11 and participates
in the Children's Hospital Outreach program. She also has
given her time to the Ronald McDonald House Project.
On the field, Roguski has started every game in the Commodore
midfield. She led the team in draw controls the past two seasons,
while twice finishing second in goals and points. Roguski
was named to the InsideLacrosse.com weekly Honor Roll earlier
this season for her play against Ohio State.
