Standouts Crawley, Zink Sign with Womenıs Lacrosse Jeanne Crawley and Ashley Zink have signed letters of intent to play lacrosse at Vanderbilt beginning with the 2000 season. Crawley, an attacking midfielder, comes to Vanderbilt from Darien High School in Darien, Conn. She rejoins ormer teammate Kinsey Osberg, who has been instrumental on attack fro the 1999 Commodores. Crawley helped Darien to its fourth consecutive state championship a season ago, and their fifth straight Fairfield County title. Zink joins the Commodores from Roland Park High School in Baltimore, where she plays attack for the nationıs #1-rated high school girls team. Last season, Zink helped Roland Park to another AIS Championship. She will also rejoin some familiar faces who are prominent in the Commodore lineup. Current junior and Commodore defensive specialist Meredith Shuey, junior defensive midfielder Kelly Sloan, and sophomore Emily Lough, VU's starting goalkeeper, are each Roland Park alumnae.
