Women's Lacrosse Adds
Five New Signees

NASHVILLE- Five Baltimore-area lacrosse players have signed National Letters
of Intent to play at Vanderbilt next year, Head Coach Cathy Swezey announced.
Her comments on each signee follow.
Mary McCeney - Midfielder
Sparks, Md. / Roland Park Country Day School
"Mary is a speedy midfielder who will contribute on both ends of
the field for our team. She has aggressive moves to goal and possesses
strong stick skills. Mary will adapt well to the physical style of collegiate
play and will impact our team as a freshman."
Bridget Morris - Defensive midfielder
Sherwood Forest, Md. / Notre Dame Prep
"Bridget is a well rounded player with a physical and aggressive
defensive style. Her stick skills will allow her to play a major role
in our transition game. Bridget will compete for a position on our starting
defense which will be graduating four seniors."
Jessica Roguski - Attack
Eldersburg, Md. / Liberty High School
"Jess will impact our offense as a freshman with her ability to distribute
the ball and score. Her excellent stick skills and field vision will make
her an immediate asset to our young team. We are very excited by Jess'
decision to attend Vanderbilt."
Kelly Devlin - Attack
Sparks, Md. / Maryvale Prep
"Kelly is an outstanding attacker with great speed and scoring ability.
She excels under pressure and consistently succeeds in one-on-one situations.
Kelly will play a major role in our program's rise to the top." Kelly
will also be trying out for the soccer team next fall.
Severna Park, Md. / Severna Park
"Lindsey will be a major contributor on our young defense with her
ability to anticipate and make big plays. Her tenacious style and determination
will make her an asset to our team. We will look for her to help fill
the void left by our graduating defenders."
