Women's Lacrosse Destroys Davidson,
(Apr. 12)--Andrea Legath had three goals and four assists, and Michelle Dillow and Caroline Mans each had three goals and an assit, as Vanderbilt (7-6) jumped out to an early lead and kept going, downing the Davidson Wildcats, 18-4. On Senior Day, Margie DeLorenzo, the lone Commodore senior, had one goal on the day. Kristen Ehst started VU off with a goal in the first 55 seconds. Just over a minute later, Sarah Odell scored, followed by Dillow of a pas from Mans. VU closed the first half with an 8-0 run. Despite allwoing to goals to Davidson in the start of the second half, VU bounced back with 10 goals, highlighted by a 6-0 run. Goalkeeper Shana Crabtree stopped four of five first half shots and Emily Lough played the last 21 minutes allowing two goals and made two saves.
