The list includes three starting tailbacks Ronald Hatcher, Norval McKenzie, and Kwane Doster, and reserve tailbacks Jason Bourque and and Parker. General Notes
Vanderbilt punter Greg Johnson's first punt of the game with 13:45 remaining in the first quarter registered 53 yards. It marked the 11th game of the season Johnson has registered a punt for 50 or more yards… Nick Getter's 33-yard reception of a Benji Walker pass late in the second quarter was a career long for the tight end. It also marked the long pass play from Walker during the 2002 season… Vanderbilt allowed a safety with 1:24 remaining in the first quarter, giving Tennessee a 9-0 lead. It was the first safety allowed by the Commodores since Vanderbilt's 46-14 loss at South Carolina (10/20/01)… Benji Walker took the field at the 11:39 mark of the second quarter. It marked Walker's first appearance since he saw action at home against Middle Tennessee (10/12/02)… Vanderbilt took the field wearing a gold-on-gold jersey combination for the first team since Nov. 27, 1982 vs. Tennessee. The game concluded in a 28-21 Commodore victory - Vanderbilt's last win in the series.
