Vanderbilt Football Coach Johnson, Baseball Coach Corbin To Appear On NewsChannel 5’s SportsLine Tuesday Night

Vanderbilt football coach Bobby Johnson and baseball coach Tim Corbin will appear on NewsChannel 5 Plus SportsLine tonight.

The one-hour show, which starts at 8:00 p.m., is hosted by longtime WTVF sports anchor Hope Hines. The sports talk show airs live on channel 50 in most Middle Tennessee cable systems.

Johnson, in his second year at the helm, will talk about the Commodores’ progress this spring and the upcoming Black & Gold Scrimmage, scheduled this Saturday in Vanderbilt Stadium. Corbin, in his first year at Vanderbilt, will discuss the improved Commodore baseball team.

Vanderbilt is hosting a special Commodore football and baseball promotion this Saturday. All Vanderbilt fans that attend the Black & Gold Scrimmage, which starts at 2:00 p.m., will get free admission to the VU-Ole Miss baseball game which starts at 4:00 p.m., at Hawkins Field. The baseball complex is located next to Vanderbilt Stadium.

Johnson is scheduled to appear with Hines from 8:00-8:30 p.m., with Corbin scheduled from 8:30-9:00 p.m. The show features questions telephoned from the public.
