Granted medical redshirt status after being sidelined by early-season Achilles’ tendon injury... Moved to cornberback after starting Commodore career as receiver.

Led team to Michigan state champion as senior... Named Detroit Free-Press Dream Team... Also selected All-District and All-Area... Was standout in track and field, setting school marks in the high jump (6’4”) and long jump (22’1”)... Also ran leg on 400-meter and 800-meter relay squads...
