Joined Commodores at start of spring practice. Coaches working with Ohanaja at safety and cornerback looking for best fit. Has excellent speed and size, but needs an excellent off-season strength/conditioning to compete for serious action in senior-dominated secondary.

Earned three-year varsity letters in football... Started three years, starting at safety as sophomore, defensive back as junior and running back at senior... Three-year All-District selection... Named by Dallas Morning News as Top 100 Recruits in Dallas-Fort Worth metro area... Team went to state playoffs as junior... Also sprinted for the high school track squad... Active with the Future Business Leaders of America and FCA.

Took a semester of Vanderbilt courses before athletic scholarship started in January 2002... Went to same high school as VU receiver Ryan Cuffee... Enjoys reading history and listening to music.
