Started as senior at OG, also played TE... School earned eighth state title during senior season, setting Ohio state record... Two-year letterman... Three-year wrestling letterman, was sectional champion in the 215-pound class as senior... Honor student with 3.6 GPA, was National Merit Semifinalist.

Academics
Murphy is working toward a degree in computer engineering from the School of Engineering.
