Enters summer camp with the Commodores’ starting tailback position at stake. Is competing with Ronald Hatcher and Ian Gaines for starting role. McKenzie impressed coaches last spring with ability to find openings from I-back formation and explosive speed. Coaching staff looking for a tailback - perhaps McKenzie - to step forward and take the job.
