Named All-City by Cincinnati Enquirer and Cincinnati Post... Two-year starter in secondary... Made 69 tackles and had four interceptions as a senior... Team played in state finals during junior season... Invited to play in Ohio-Pennsylvania Big 33 Classic... Team captain in track... Ran 400 meters and 1,600-meter relay ... Relay team qualified for district championships.

Dad owns business representing manufacturers, mom is an employee in the Hamilton County (Ohio) criminal justice system... At St. Xavier, Lyle played with Tennessee Titans’ 2002 signee Rocky Boiman... Enjoys fishing, golf and softball... Was prep rival of VU roommate Pat Brunner who starred for arch-rival Elder.
