Prospects
Coming off excellent spring practice, Getter is competing with two-year starter Tom Simone at TE. Has size to contribute as blocker or possession receiver. Looking from redemption after disappointing 2001 campaign.

2001
Played in nine games, with no starts... Hampered all season by preseason hamstring pull... Missed first two games due to injury... Duties limited to blocking assignments in short-yardage situations... Contributed on kickoff return units... Did not make a catch.

2000
Played in eight games and caught four passes, including two against Auburn.

1999
Redshirted.

High School
Had 42 career catches, six touchdowns... Named second team All-State at tight end as senior... Two-time All-District selection, All Cen-Tex Regional Tight End as senior... Also named All-District in basketball as a senior... Lettered in basketball... Member of National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society... Won academic award for maintaining an “A” average for four years.

Getter is majoring in economics, and expects to graduate in May. He is a two-time All-SEC Academic Honor Roll pick.
