Named to Coaches’ All-SEC Freshman Team at left tackle... Played and started first nine games of season... Season ended prematurely, with broken foot suffered against Kentucky... Allowed just three sacks while battling such DEs as Georgia’s Charles Grant, Kalimba Edwards of South Carolina, Alex Brown of Florida and Kentucky’s Dennis Johnson.

Second team All-State pick... Led team to a 11-2 record and state quarterfinals... Named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette "Fabulous 22" and the Pittsburgh Tribune Review "Terrific 25"... Named starting left tackle for Pennsylvania team in Big 33 Classic... Also selected All-District and All-Conference... Played on baseball team that won the 1998 Western Pennsylvania Championship... Member of National Honor Society and high honor roll with a 4.0 GPA.

Geisinger is enrolled in the College of Arts and Science, working toward a degree in biology.
