Wednesday's Vanderbilt Baseball Game at Memphis Canceled 3/20/02

The Vanderbilt at Memphis game scheduled for Wednesday, March 20 has been canceled due to continuing rain in the region. A possible make-up date for the game has yet to be determined.

Vanderbilt (13-4) and Memphis (3-8) were scheduled to start at 7 p.m. It marks the third time this season a Vanderbilt baseball game has been canceled due to inclimate weather. The Vanderbilt-Memphis game for Feb. 27 and the Vanderbilt-Saint Louis game for March 3 were called off due to cold temperatures and snow.

The 29th-ranked Commodores play host to Georgia (8-5) this weekend in Vanderbilt's Southeastern Conference home opener at Hawkins Field. The three-game series starts Friday at 7 p.m. Saturday's game begins at 2 p.m. The series finale starts at 1 p.m on Sunday. -VU-
