• Vanderbilt baseball looks to record its 36th 20-win season
in program history this week. The Commodores have won at least
20 games every year since 1969. VU also won 22 games in 1905
and 20 games in 1921.
• Chris Broadus is currently on a career-high and team-best
14-game hit streak with .382 (21-for-55) average, 7 RBI, 3
doubles and 11 RS. The hit streak is tied with Ole Miss’ Chad
Sterben for second place. Florida’s Pat Osborn owns the longest
current hit streak at 16 games.
• Sean Luellwitz continues his outstanding season at the
plate and in the field. He currently ranks among the SEC leaders
in five categories: slugging percentage (8th-.632), batting
average (11th-.374), doubles (t-10th- 15), total bases (12th-108)
and home runs (t-12th-9). His .992 fielding percentage ranks
