The Arkansas Series Arkansas leads the all-time series with Vanderbilt 13-6-0. The two teams last met in 1999 when the Razorbacks took two-of-three (5-6, 5-2, 10-7) in Nashville. Arkansas has won the last two in the series and also eight of the last 12 games. Only four Commodores on the 2002 roster played in the 1999 series, including RHP Chris Maultsby, 1B Sean Luellwitz, OF Karl Nonemaker, and 2B Scott Vanderhoff.

Mewbourne Faces Another Coaching Legend VU head coach Roy Mewbourne, the winningest coach in Commodore baseball history and one of only 36 coaches to win 900 career games will battle another coaching legend this weekend in Arkansas’ Norm DeBriyn.

Injured List Two Vanderbilt players, catcher Jonathan Douillard and relief pitcher Robert Ransom will sit out this week after suffering injuries in the Georgia series.
