Commodores Shine in Cape Cod League All-Star Weekend 7/28/03

FALMOUTH, Mass - Two Vanderbilt baseball players were among the brightest stars at the Cape Cod League All-Star weekend.

Ryan Klosterman's two-out single in the ninth-inning loaded the bases Saturday and set up the game-winning hit for the East, which won 3-1. The East entered the inning trailing 1-0, but a leadoff single followed by a double two outs later tied the score. Klosterman got his chance when the batter before him, Chris Malec, drew a walk, which puts runners on first and second. Klosterman singled to right to load the bases, and the next batter, Sean Gamble, drove in two runs with another hit. More
