EXPLORING NASHVILLE

While the University has planned many activities and events to honor this special occasion, we also recognize the importance of personal family celebrations. Therefore, Thursday evening has been set aside as a time when few activities are scheduled.

If you are remaining in Nashville over the weekend immediately following Commencement, the 67th running of the Iroquois Steeplechase will take place on Saturday, May 10. This Nashville tradition benefits The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Please see the Steeplechase Web site for information about times and tickets.

Nashville has much to offer. Web sites such as

provide information about restaurants, events and more.
