| What is COEUS? | |||||||||
| At its core, Coeus is a research administration program. Developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Office of Sponsored Programs, it has grown over the years into a full research proposal development and submission tool. MIT named Coeus after the Greek Titan of wisdom, knowledge, and intelligence.
Vanderbilt's implementation of Coeus has been customized to meet its particular requirements and this database contains Vanderbilt’s grant proposal and award information for the past 10 years. VUMC's Office of Grants and Contracts Management and University Central's Division of Sponsored Research began using Coeus in 2002 and is now taking the steps to make the full functionality of the program available to the larger university research community. |
