Getting Started with Coeus

In order to begin using the system, you need to do the following:


For Windows Machines


  • Ensure you have a Coeus User Account. Coeus Accounts can be requested by your supervisor through PEER (Submit an Action Request to 'Request Coeus Permissions for User').
  • Verify that a current version of Java (1.5 or later) is installed on your system.
    (Download Java for Windows)
  • Download the Coeus client and select the 'Launch Coeus 4.X' link on the left.
  • If you have trouble bringing up the Coeus link you may need Java. Download Java here.

For Mac OS


  • Ensure you have a Coeus User Account. Coeus Accounts can be requested by your supervisor through PEER (Submit an Action Request 'Request Coeus Permissions for User').
  • Verify that a current version of Java (1.5 or later) is installed on your system.

  • Download the Coeus client and select the 'Launch Coeus 4.X' link on the left.
