Lotus Eaters Sophomore Honor Society

Founded on the principles of community involvement, leadership, service and academic excellence, Lotus Eaters, a Vanderbilt University sophomore honor society of about thirty members, offers students the opportunity to spend productive time with other sophomore leaders on campus while participating in a variety of unique service-oriented projects.

To apply to Lotus Eaters, students must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher by the end of their first year, class of 2011. Applications are evaluated on academics, leadership ability, attributes you can bring to the society, and the quality and effort shown on the application. Lotus Eaters is looking for enthusiastic and motivated students ready to get involved in the Vanderbilt community. A one-time membership fee of $20 is required of selected applicants.

If you are interested in being a member of the Lotus Eaters Honor Society, you may download and print the application. Fill it out legibly and turn it the Office of Leadership Development and Intercultural Affairs in the Community Partnership House, rm. 112 by the deadline.

Lotus Eaters Sophomore Honor Society applications are due by April 21, 2008.

Please print off the application and submit it in person to the Office of Leadership Development Intercultural Affairs, 112 CPH.
