http://its.vanderbilt.edu/password/Please note that you will only be able to sign up for a VUnetID after we have received your matriculation fee. Once we have received confirmation of your enrollment, please allow approximately three business days in order for your VUnetID to be activated.
As one of the first steps down the road to Vanderbilt, all new students must sign up to receive a VUnetID. At Vanderbilt, your VUnetID and password are used to access most VUnet services. To maintain the integrity of your VUnetID, it is important that you and only you, the student, activate the account.
Although you will probably initially use your VUnetID and password to register for housing, be aware that it is also used to access the services listed below, including your @vanderbilt.edu email account, which is used for official electronic notifications from Vanderbilt.

- On-line course registration (OASIS)
- On-line instruction (OAK)
- Access to Academic Information
- File space (VUspace)
- Library databases and text searches
- University publications
- University events calendar
- World Wide Web
- On-line course evaluations
- Legal digital media services
