Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS): Academic Year Fellowships 2013-2014

The U.S. Department of Education has awarded the Center six Foreign Language Area Studies (FLAS) fellowships for Portuguese or Maya K’iche’  in the amount of $792,000 for 2010-2014. These fellowships offer an academic year stipend of $15,000 and a tuition award of $18,000.
