Coed Squad

This year's Vanderbilt University 2008-09 Cheerleading program will consist of 10 men and 10-12 females, which will make up one large co-ed team. This team will consist of female flyers and male stunters along with 1-2 All girl stunt groups.

They will cheer for all home and away football games and men's and women's basketball games. They will travel to any Bowl Game played by the Vanderbilt University football team, along with traveling to any SEC and/or NCAA tournament games played by the men's and women's basketball team.

The cheerleaders at Vanderbilt make regular appearances to represent Vanderbilt University at alumni, athletic, charitable, and public relations activities and events. Members of this team are eligible to be considered for the Competition Squad to represent Vanderbilt University at any competitive event.

This spirit squad is a highly visible and enthusiastic athletic group whose primary purpose is to support Intercollegiate Athletics and serve as ambassadors by appearing at university functions and community events.
