Sandra Jo Wilson, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Associate and the Associate Director of the Center for Evaluation Research and Methodology at the Vanderbilt Institute for Public Policy Studies. She received her Ph.D. in Policy Development and Program Evaluation from Vanderbilt University in 2000. Her research interests are in the areas of meta-analysis, program evaluation, research methodology, and the prevention of antisocial behavior. Her recent research focuses on longitudinal risk and protective factors associated with school success or failure, risk and intervention for juvenile delinquency and aggression, the relationships between antisocial behavior and school failure, and the impact of programs for the prevention of school violence. In 2003, she won the Pro Humanitate Award from the North American Resource Center for Child Welfare for her publication (with Mark Lipsey and Haluk Soydan) on the effectiveness of mainstream programs for minority juvenile delinquents.
