Spring 2008

Jan 3 Deadline for students to pay tuition, fees, and all other charges for the Spring Semester. Failure to meet this deadline will result in cancellation of the student's registration.
Jan 8 Spring Registration Period ends at 4:00 P.M.
Jan 9 Classes begin. OASIS in view only mode.
Jan 10 Change Period begins at 8:00 A.M.; P/F Registration begins; Wait List Period begins; Make-up Examination Period.
Jan 14 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - No Holiday
Jan 15 Wait List Period ends at 4:00 P.M.
Jan 16 Spring Registration Change Period ends at 4:00 P.M.; Last day undergraduates students may add a course or drop a course with no entry on their records; Last day undergraduates may register for P/F status in any course; Last day undergraduates may drop Blair performance courses with no music fee charged.
Feb 27 Deadline for application to Vanderbilt abroad program for Fall 2008.
Feb 29 Last day for sophomores to declare a major. Those who have not declared by this date will have a hold placed on their registration.
Mar 1 - Mar 9 Spring Break.
Mar 14 Last day undergraduates may withdraw from courses. After this date students must continue with courses in which they are registered. Deadline for students to change from P/F status to regular graded status in a course at 4:00 P.M..
Apr 7 Fall Registration-Course Request Period begins at 8:00 A.M.
Apr 22 Last day of classes for Spring semester. All incomplete work for the semester must be made up by this date unless an extension has been granted by the Dean on recommendation of the instructor.
Apr 23 - May 1 Reading Days and Examinations. Grades are due 48 hours after the Final ends.
Apr 25 Deadline to return verification of Departmental Honors to A&S Dean's office (311 Kirkland Hall) for 08S candidates.
May 2 Date by which continuing students must have registered to avoid the late registration fee.
